Easterling Griffon Rider

Why? Why the hell not!

So, I wanted to make a largish fantasy army for mass battles (liking the new Mantic rules so far) so bought a pile of Easterlings from GW. But, I need some characters. First up is my Griffon Rider, he isn't done by any means, but he is taking shape nicely.

I also intend to have some Chariots. I plan to convert Wargames Factory Celt Chariots into Easterling Chariots.

My Wife's D&D Character (Not Entirely Finished)

Just thought I'd toss up my Wifes D&D cahracter, she is a Half-Elven Fighter. She's pretty awesome in game actually. Until she breaks her sword, again . . .

Modular Hirst Arts Dungeon

Though I like the storage potential and overall niftiness of my paper world works games stuff, I also really enjoy my Hirst Arts molds. I found my World Works paper takes far too long to setup on the fly for quick games of DnD, so set out to remedy the problem.

I used WWG paper floors glued to cork tiles for my floors here, then built Hirst Arts walls to fit into those tiles. The result looks nice and allows me to rapidly and easily build my dungeon rooms for DnD.

Roofing Made Easy?

Been wanting to make some fantasy buildings with an Asian vibe, and knowing I'd never do those cool tile roofs was killing me. But, it's fantasy, I'll do as I please. So I broke out my Craft Robo and came up with this. I can now make cool roofs in minutes.

Gundam 1/400 Figures

Been collecting those cool little Gundam Trading Figures, damn they are awesome. Anyways, With a little searching you can usually nab them in sealed cases from about $2-$3 a head, which is damn reasonable compared to similarly sized Battletech figures.

They are pretty well painted, and there is even a game for them (well in Japan, but it has been translated to English as well, more on that later)

This covers a good amount of my collection, they are based on wood hexes which are the same size as Heroscape Glyphs.

This would be my only "squad" of any sort, I managed to collect a decent sized team of Ginn Mobile Suits and am pretty happy about that.

Here are a few of my Gundams, obviously, got a lot more, but like these ones a fair amount for some reason.

Monsters for "Warrior is About to Die!"

I have been steadily plunking away at this game, and have taken a few pictures of the figures I intend to use with "Warrior is About to Die" WAD? WiAtD? Eh, we'll go with WAD! Anyways, here are the shots of the figures I will be using, there are mostly from Mage Knight and DDM, but there are a few WoW minis and some Horrorclix in there as well.

"Warrior Is About To Die!"

Photobucket

"Warrior Is About To Die!" is my remake of a classic arcade game into a miniature form. Based on the classic Gauntlet, this game will play as easily as the old arcade game, and with a similar feel. Keeping mostly to the original design, with some cherrypicked features from the newer games, "Warrior Is About To Die!" should be an absolute blast to play when it's all done. The game should take around -10 minutes to teach to a completely new player, perhaps less (hopefully). I hope to have a finished version in the next few months.

Anyways, the picture above is my tentative cover, though the graphics will need to be replaced.
